I always equate a noisy car with there being a problem with the car, so I don't see why you'd want it to be noisy.

Anything loud on a car other than the stereo system is not a car I would ever want to be in.

Have regular hoons driving around the area I live in who use the roundabouts (that were installed to stop street racing and hoon driving) as chicanes and all of their cars are insanely loud - some even louder than the loud music they're blaring in their cars.

I can appreciate the top end of the market, that's some high quality engineering. But a Nissan Pulsar with a hole in the muffler and a sub woofer doesn't even come close.

Meh, it's in the eye of the beholder. Particularly modified cars which are a very personal thing.

I've seen cheap cars done up and maintained nicely, and things worth near a million that looked tacky as ****.
