C'mon Everybody.

It's mid to late January for Heaven's sake!!!!!!

What are you doing hanging around on a football board??!!?!!!??

Here's the question for this thread:

WHAT'S THE MOST HAWTHORN / FOOTBALL TRAGIC THING YOU DO IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER?

I'll kick off:
1. I bought "The Electrifying 80's" DVD and watched it.
2. I have a spreadsheet that identifies the players who need to perform in '06 and I keep looking at it with nothing to update.
3. I keep logging onto bigfooty Hawks.
4. One of the songs that recurs in my head is the club theme-song - even in January.
5. I was swimming in Port Phillip Bay yesterday and thinking about whether or not Hawthorn would make the finals.

Oh, dear, I need help.

I watched the Round 21 (2004) game between the Hawks and the Tigers (the wooden spoon decider) on Fox Footy yesterday instead of the cricket or the tennis.

I have watched a replay of (almost) every Hawks win in the last two years (not many I know :( ) on Fox Footy over the last five months.

i watched 89 and 91 in the last month. 89 twice actually. Went to the Hawks family day, bought a pile of Hawks stuff and signed up my dog as a pet patron. i share my time between Hawk Headquarter and Big Footy just incase there is a Hawks topic I missed on HHQ. I also like to peruse the Collingwood and especially Essenscum board and let their supporters know how pathetic and doomed their list is. Those arrogant bastards still thing they are so great.
I also have a spreadsheet I've put together of our entire senior list, with a top 22 squad and color coded top 22 players with incoming players so that I can see who our starting team will be and who will replace who during the season. With all the new recruits plus the young blood from last yr, its a real balancing act let me tell you.
I dream of Roughead playing at CHF, not CHB. I hate that thought. I want a 3 pronged attack: Dowler FF, Roughead CHF, and Franklin HFF with Willow, Little and Miller crumbing all around. I dream of a midfield being labelled the fab 6, Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis, Bateman, Ellis, Muston. I dream of becoming the envy of the competition and standing there on GF day as we win our 10th premiership and the feeling of ecstasy is go great!

Yes its Jan 25th. I need help and so do you if you're still reading this.

Go Hawkeeers!!

Per my computer, it is 4.44pm Jan. 25, and one month's time I'll be cheering our Hawks at the Dome, and watching your aspirations start coming to reality. Little for 3 majors in his first hitout, Gilham rebounding out of the backline, and Kane giving Ball, Ries and Laddo something to think about.
