Welldone to Steve Waugh on winning the medal but how unlucky was Brett Lee? He was two votes away from winning the medal. This year he missed out on three tests and some one dayers. If he was fit, he would have been likely to win the medal. You forget how well he played against teams like New Zealand early last year. Lee was also unlucky in the Test Player of the Year. From memory he was only one point of that. In sying that Miller missed the first two tests.
