Hey, that's me! Thanks very much for sharing, hopefully Cats fans think it's a fair and balanced assessment of your chances this year. Apologies to even ask but if folks enjoyed, please consider subscribing (there's no paywall). I'm previewing all 18 clubs and there'll be weekly posts throughout the season. Alright, that's enough self-promotion!This may have been posted already. But I thought this was very interesting independent view

Finally someone else sees it.What disappointments me with Danger is his lack of 'forward craft' and he is so predictable how he plays in the forward line. I thought over time he'd get better at it but there is nothing I've seen from him that suggests that. So I'm just left with the opinion that he can be a useful forward but that is all, which is so disappointing because a man of his talents should be far better and a greater threat when he moves forward but he's not. PS - Maybe it's not to late late for Danger to get a few tips from Gazza Snr, the same as Blighty gave tips to Gazza, coz it can make a world of difference when playing forward!
Finally someone else sees it.
Danger is terrific when blazing away + kicks snaps. Set shots are his weakness. He misses shots in front of goals. Dangerfield sometimes tries to do it all, when there are, on occasions better options ahead with Hawkins, Jezza, OHenry, Stengle, Miers et al were all closer to goals.
24- 1 finals win, 1 lossI was in a medical facility with my dad last year. Sitting, chatting. We'd just lost to Carlton.
And I said 'we're done'.
I couldn't see us winning the next 3 games. Maybe one.
Well that turned upside down real quick.
But as Scott has always said. "It's not who you play, it's when you play them".
I never ever thought we could win 3 finals. Anything can happen.
Probably to be thereabouts. Likely making finals, but a small chance not to.24- 1 finals win, 1 loss
23- no finals
22- 3 finals wins, no losses
21- 1 finals win, 2 losses
20- 2 finals wins, 2 losses
We are there and abouts most years.
Impossible to know what this year brings

Gazza was always prodigious forward.
Booted over 60 goals for Hawthorn reserves one year.
Underrated is Blight isn't he?
I have spoken to many people who have watched the game all their lives and he often gets mentioned as one of the best ever.
In some ways, not too dissimilar to Mo Salah for Liverpool. Underappreciated when it comes to the world scene.
Jack Bowes could be Eden Monaro. In political parlance, I would say the swing states are:
Holmes elevating to a truly elite player of the competition.
Smith staying fit, settling well and finding the top end of his Bulldog form.
Cameron remaining one of the top 2-3 key forwards of the competition.
SDK improving his ruck craft to competitive level and body holding up.
Danger retaining his midfield explosiveness to be used sparingly in emergency situations.
Stewart and Zac Guthrie staying healthy.
Dempsey, Humphries maintaining and improving level despite increasing opposition defensive pressure.
If all those fall our way, we will be in Prelim weekend, if 1-2 go against us, it will be hard. 3 and we would miss the 8.

Awesome those cars.Jack Bowes could be Eden Monaro.
Stewart was into the centre bounce at either the second or third for the gameWe allegedly have an easier fixture according to pundits, so really the plan should be to load up early in the season, bank wins and then heavily rotate late in the season. Doesn't always work out that way.
Wonder if we see Stewart in the midfield at all, I don't remember him being in there at all last night. Did he spend time there V Hawks?
