Oh it was also good to see Oscar Allen and Jarrod Brander go past Jake Waterman. Hopefully his brother Alec will find himself back on the list after Claremont wins the flag in 2019. Alec is the better Waterman. He can kick a ball unlike Jake.

Can’t wait for round 3 and still see Masten in the team (barring injury)

Wonder what the story will be then?

I eagerly await the outcome.
I actually like Masten and Waterman more and more after reading a new hungrytiger post and want them to succeed.

Gaff replaces Masten in Round 3.
Masten will of played his last West Coast game in RD 2. Masten can go to GWS or GC and finish his career.

At least you’ve let him go out in style - 200th game for the club, on the day we unveil his premiership flag to the home crowd. Could be worse.

They reckon Cripps is a chance for round 1.

FB: Sheppard Barrass Cole
HB: Hurn McGovern Jetta
C: Masten Redden Sheed
HF: Cripps Darling Venables
FF: Rioli Kennedy Ryan
R: Hickey Yeo Shuey
Bench: Vardy Duggan Hutchings OAllen

How do you fit Gaff into that?
Will be hard for any of the young brigade to break into the side short of injuries.

Yep Cripps replaces Petruccelle in Rd 2.

Gaff replaces Masten in Round 3.
Masten will of played his last West Coast game in RD 2. As the year goes on Ainsworth, H Brayshaw, Matty Allen and Josh Smith will go ahead of him. Also too i say this as we have to fit Tim Kelly into the team next year. Masten can go to GWS or GC and finish his career.

That was a lot of words just to say:
Out: Masten, Waterman

Surely Gaff replaces Masten. Tough to drop Sheed considering the forms he's been in.

Exciting times for depth and ensuring players perform!

He better. I can’t see Sheed winning the Brownlow playing for the Beagles.

The problem with Waterman is that at WAFL level he becomes a traditional KPF rather than that HFF that pushes down the ground. He's got a great tank on him and if he does that play a genuine KPF role for our reserves, he should atleast push down the ground as a CHF (Nick Reiwoldt style).
Previously. Maybe with more Tallis on our list in 2019 he'll move up the ground.
