Problem is Dans ego is so big he’ll want to run and win to be vindicated for screwing everyone over for 2 years.
One of the biggest narcissists I’ve seen in all levels of politics in Australia.

I find him vile and unlikeable. No redeeming features for mine.

Just watching his press conference about the resignations. Get me a barf bag, has anyone seen such narcissism? Everything with Andrews smells of Lavender! All the tell tale signs are there of a pathological fibber of huge proportians, he could crap on all day if he wanted too, he's really good at. He has a reputation of being dictatorial, difficult and totally patronising to his colleagues, his contempt for the Victorian public and arrogance towards the media is astoundaing. The public are just as guilty, Victorians bend over willingly and they have let him get away with it and he knows it.
He is typical of those trying to deceive and stretch the truth with too many words. Since such a spinner of fairy tales may make up things as they go, they may also tend to add excessive detail to convince themselves or others of what they are saying. He gets very testy with the media when they pull him up on this and ask questions?
He will get re-elected and Victoria will get more of the same, as will his colleagues that are silly enough to still be there after November. The only thing in his favour is he's not as bad a politician as the un Australian duo of Adam Bandt or Lidia Thorpe.

And after all that, to think he is still a better candidate for premier than Guy shows how bad the Libs are lol.

Who are the 4 Health Ministers in four years?

Mikakos was appointed in 2018, then replaced by Foley in 2020 who was also Minister for mental Health and now due to his retirement can understand why he will be replaced but that has nothing to do with 4 in 4. Should he leave the position vacant?

I can't recall the other two.

1. Jill Hennessy = 2014-2018
2. Jenny Mikakos = 2018-2020
3. Martin Foley = 2020-2022
4. ? = 2022-Present

Jill Hennessy was minister up to November 2018. And Mary Jane somebody is the new minister

Have to say that I'm disappointed that James Merlino is standing down. I was hoping that Andrews would be the one resigning, and that Merlino would get a full-tilt at an election. IMHO, most premiers start to stink after 8 years... I thin it's good to clean out the dead wood.

Not disappointed to see the back of Pakula though... that guy was a chump.

Merlino never stood a chance while the socialist left controlled the party.

And for the first time (as far as I know) the deputy premier, Jacinta Allan, will be from the same faction as the Premier Just shows how much power Dan wields

Maybe Merlino's going to run in the Federal seat of Casey at the next federal election?

It's very winnable, as the ALP candidate at the last two elections has been a wet lettuce and it's only a 3% margin. Good chance that a strong candidate like Merlino could win it at the next election, particularly if the LNP continues to go ultra-Qld.

That stuffs expensive dontcha know.

You moved states, you're not a refugee
False unfortunately. The Melbourne lockdowns were wretched, I don't want authoritarianism!
You would have thought so, wouldn't you.
But here is where they've formed their Rat King.
wat
No more of a wake up ACAB thing.

Cops are violent, always have beenz everywhere they've existed and they've always violently enforced the states wishes when they weren't just doing whatever they felt like for cash.

VicPol are bad, nobody is asking why throwing more cops at the situation hasn't worked so far, they're just asking for more cops.

You're going with time to get back to their real job and not beat up protestors, thats always been part of their job.
That's a fairly extreme view m8 influenced by American social media because they actually do have constant shootings committed by police. There's plenty of bad eggs in the Aussie forces no doubt but to generalise that they're all bastards is just childish, clear as mud?
Where you working/living at in QLD?
Brissy man, convinced the cucks at work to pay for the move and then received the qld gov tradie incentive as well. That's how ya do it, see.

You left the state because it was too authoriatarian but think ACAB is extreme and rude.

You can't have it both ways FK who do you think enforces the laws?

And ACAB is pretty much universal, cops are the violent extension of the state, and VicPol are pretty s**t aye

Thanks but that is hardly 4 in four years. Mikakos wasn't a loss given her history.

I was really surprised when posters started to quote as technically only two with one now to replace Foley.

Agree, sadly unaligned with any faction. Not dissimilar to Andrew Leigh federally, he too is quite good but unaligned with any faction.
