Howe many?

Incidental? Really
Yes, it's an unfortunate outcome but I don't believe Howe intentionally meant it. It was a collision.

He will get weeks though (from the punch and perhaps the trip too) so you'll be happy.

I can show you footage of Dangerfield from the weekend that is telling of how you shouldn't use your legs in a contest.

Not everything is about Geelong

Stay on topic ffs

The punch to Cripps doesn't bother me as much, its the obvious trip that had cracked young Fishers fibula, ending his season.

He should get 1 week for the punch and 2 weeks for the trip at the very minimum.

Deserves 2 weeks for both, i think that fits the bill.

The punch was dumb, no intent to hit him in the jaw.

The trip is the more worrying one, careless with high impact - he'll see 2 weeks for that and potentially one for the punch as well.

He's had a lot of these brain fades lately!
Careless high impact to the body is 1 week.

Was graded as Careless Severe to body which is why straight to tribual

Punch deserved 2-3 weeks.

The trip: I feel bad for Fisher but it was a complete accident. Howe might get weeks for it, but a reasonable tribunal should recognise that Howe was just contesting the ball when his opponent spun into his leg. You could argue that the leg shouldn't have been there, but arguing that it was an intentional trip is going too far.

Shaking my head if Howe gets 4-5 weeks for this. Cameron only got 5 weeks and he could have killed Harris Andrews.
4-5 all up or 4-5 for the trip?

As 2 reports shouldn't mean you get a discount due to the multiple weeks

I'm sure no one disagrees but the MRO table goes based on impact. medium impact is a hard sell considering he played without issue, 30 disposals and 2 goals.

Played on yes however didn't get a quality touch in the first half. Regained his senses at half time and played a much better second half. 2 weeks minimum.

Cripps was already ducking away before the punch was thrown. Should have been a chest whack. Intentional, sure, low impact, depending on the med report, high contact... One week seems proper considering Cripps contributed to the location of the hit.
Rubbish. Howe looked, cocked his fist and punched him in the head.

If he was that shook up he shouldnt have been playing

Maybe because he was tagged in the first half? You know, that one role they play to negate the impact of another player. :$

Gets released in the second half and suddenly has time and space to find the ball.

Your being very generous calling it a trip. IMO it was kick, not the traditional style but a kick none the less. He deserves the same punishment that he dished upto the bloke he kicked ie 5 weeks for kicking - i give him a discount for the 3 qtrs Fisher could not play. Two weeks for punching a bloke in the head is about right would have been if he received concussion.
