I reckon the only time that Biglands looks outstanding is when he is crashing through the crepe paper at the start of the game. He'll be 35 and retired and we'll be saying "gee he had potential", "gee he was a big bastard", "if only he didn't get injured".

He is big, he's athletic....so why doesn't he do something?

Quite the opposite - Biglands likes the run-up, Clarke is better of a short run and Huddo is as you say the back-up.

Agreed. Biglands is more suited to a longer run up. Even Mick Redden said that the rule change will have the biggest effect on BIglands as he has to change the way he plays the game.

This may in fact result in Huddo and Clarke in ruck and Biglands in FP

At least on Sunday Biglands was following up the play after the ruck contest and getting more involved.

How long that would have continued is unknown as he only lasted a qtr and a bit.

But it was a noticable short term improvement
