The Adelaide Football Club have released the following statement:

A news bulletin on Channel 10 on Tuesday evening stated:

“A Crows player was involved in an incident at a nightclub in the early hours of last Saturday”. After further investigations, the Club wishes to advise that player Scott Welsh was in fact involved in an incident, which fortunately has resulted in no further action being taken by the parties concerned.

Scott’s behaviour was not acceptable to the Club, and the Club has insisted he attends counselling in regards to Behaviour Management.

The Club has also given Scott written notice that it will not tolerate such behaviour in the future. Any similar behaviour in the future will put his career with the Club at risk.

There will be no further comment from the Club.

ADELAIDE today could confirm ruckman Ben Hudson will not be a Crow next season.

And the AFL club also is expected to announce its findings on the weekend's nightclub incident involving one of its experienced players.

Adelaide football operations manager John Reid last night confirmed the Crows would not budge on a two-year deal with Hudson, who has been offered a three-year contract at the Western Bulldogs.
Reid said: "There has been no movement in negotiations and I don't think there will be."

You would think that if they are keen enough to offer a 3 year deal, they are not going to shaft us at the trade table. Why not package Hudson & Meesen together - could take care of the Puppies short & long term ruck issues. That would be worth pick 5 at minimum.

Is that WB talk or managers talk?

This is what shits me the most with all this ... we as fans dont know and the clubs have to hope their contacts within the clubs give them the straight line
