We are set to have:

Picks 1,2,17,19,35 etc

Pick #2 comes from the Brendan Goddard debarcle of 2002 - where we were stripped of a PP which we "earned", even though the punishments and draft sanctions layed down to us did not include Priority Picks (which is why we were able to draft Andrew Walker in 2003 and no one else for the first 2 rounds).

This simply won't happen, the outcry from the other 15 clubs would be too much. The AFL has to be very careful with this situation...

If your going to make up bull**** at least take away pick 19 or 20 as we wouldnt get two priority picks.

No chance in hell would the AFL give us pick 1 and 2 imo.

The info i have is we are tring to get our PP back from black friday.The AFL can only take draft picks not PP, so if this comes true the we will have

1,2PP from black friday,19PP,20.

It's what the HIGH COURT decides .. fcuk the other 15 clubs. We deserve this, its not an issue of whether everyone else agrees.

This rumour is true in theory. The club is very confident that it will win the priority pick taken away in 2002 as it was legally never meant to be. IF the club has the balls to go through with this then it is LIKELY that we will end up receiving that pick. Why have we waited so long?? Who knows...

If it all goes to plan we will receive picks 1,2,18,20,36,52,etc

I'm sure many of you will be skeptical which is fine but thats the truth so take it however you want...

The club aren't arguing that we get another pick this year because of our on-field performances, they are arguing that they had a pick wrongfully taken away from them and they should get it back. Like somebody else said, the AFL may have no say in the matter as it could end up in court. I'm not trying to stir stuff up just telling you as it is.

So we wanna p off the AFL...

Lets see, the AFL that has lent us cash and is financing maintenance of our ground.

The AFL that can kick us out of the league and setup a new franchise to cover for our disappearance.

We should tread carefully on this one.... I think if discussed openly with the AFL they might agree they erred in taking away our PP (Goddard) when it should have really been only round 1 pick.

But taking it to court... fraught with danger.
