Who cares if he is racist. Its hardly a defining characteristic of his rise in wrestling story unless he started belting non white men in the street or refused to wrestle with black wrestlers.

What would be interesting about hogan from mid nineties onwards? Just an uneducated person with lots of cash having orgies and drugs and divorces and back problems.

Can you do a back flip from the standing position?
If only 2 out of 10 people can do that skill in a ring then that's one thing they are technically better at.
The more you're technically proficient at the better you are technically in the ring.

Not in shoot fighting.
Plenty of the old wrestlers knew holds that could * you up good and proper and leave you in agony.
Stu Hart was someone who taught a lot of these holds to his wrestlers.
Then there's the likes of Dan Severn , Steve Blackman and Ken Shamrock.
Brock Lesnar would best him in a cage match.

His whole wcw period is something that should not be revisited.

it's not whether it's interesting. it's the contrast between the 2 characters of the red & yellow Hulk Hogan and the nWo black & white Hollywood Hogan.
Not in his current shape. He weighs 300 pounds now.

In the same way david beckhams usa years is a significant part of his career.
Hogan was not only the face of wrestling in the eighties and early nineties he was one of the biggest USA cultural icons full stop along with micheal jackson, michael jordan and arnold swazzeneggar.
In the late nineties he wasnt even one of the faces of wrestling and had been replaced with austin, hart, michaels and the undertaker. And probably one or two of the wcw wrestlers as well.
