Hasn't he been signed on a one year contact?

Why on earth would Hulme want to play for Brisbane. I mean sure Brisbane's a nice place, but there are very few vacancies in the Brisbane midfield.

Correct if I am wrong but how could Hulme possibly end up at the Lions unless he was delisted by Carlton and he went to the PSD and lasted until pick No. 15 (?) (provided there wasn't anyone else interested)???

If he has all settled terms with Carlton there is no way he can do it, is there??

I thought all trading finished last Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm.

As far as I know - Hulme DID NOT get a new contract with Carlton. There was rumours that he did prior to trade week, and he was shopped around, however no one was interested. So as he is UNCONTRACTED he is eligible to go into the PSD (at least thats my understanding). I seriously doubt Brisbane would pick him up - I mean what value would he have to them? He will be lucky to get a game in a minnows league!!

i never said i liked him or that he'd get a game. the guy who said he wouldnt get a game for a minnows league was right

hulmey is one of the toughest players around at carlton....hes one of the only players that plays with heart and hes not afraid to take on the big blokes... hes there to set an example to the younger blokes. hes still got a good 3-4 years left in him, and carlton need that leadership as these next couple of years are the ones where we're gonna climb up the ladder
