I think Henty have already won their one and only premiership this year and that was on the cricket field yesterday going by the Border Mail.Apparently klemke is having trouble getting respect seeing he has gone to the lions from a lesser league and wasnt a dominant player .The Lions talk a bit with a few beers in them.Definately the most social club in the hume league.
All i here is you lads knocking, Klemke and Culcairn. They are def not my favourate club, But gee give them a break. Have any of you played farrar in the LAST 2 years? i have and its not much diff to hume standard.
Matt Klemke is a very handy football player and the forward who he plays on any week will struggle.
Ben bussle. is handy on ball, reminds me of somebody of Karl jacka's ability, a handy pick up.
Marcus gestello, heaps of ability,could be anything if fit, just usually eats to many pies.
Kade klemke, TALENTED if not playing for BUSHIES, will go great, one of the best young footy prospects inthe league.
Nat Stroh, reffered on forum as a role player, nothing wrong with that,super fit, if makes footy a priority can be a match winner, improved since last in hume league.

Never interested in 400 a game, well he is BLOODY mad!!! Thats a whole lotta money there lads, surely he woulda considered it even a little bit, i'd nearly come outta retirement for that much!!! And i'm sure theres plenty more who'd do the same

Can anyone please tell me where I can find a fixture for the season. Been lookin everywhere throughout the internet and cannot find a thing! It seems as though the hume league is the only football league in the country that's still run on the bush telegraph with cans and string!!! Cul beat Barny and i believe Walla won by twenty goals against Billabong Crows. Good win for Cul, things may not be as bad as first thought!!!

Just heard off my Henty man that Joel Klemke (who played Nth two's on the weekend) has tipped them over $75,000 for the season.

Nothing wrong with spending the cash if you can raise the funds to cover it. It seems like R/W,Henty,Howlong,Walla, Culcairn and Osborne have the funds to spend and will fight it out for the top five this year.

Yeah i ran into the lads at an irish establishment on the weekend and mind you it was AFTER the match they played.they told me they had a bloke who played for them on the weekend ,who will sign with them this week.Apparentely they may have a reasonable side,looks like their coach may struggle to get a game,hope hes a good motivator.

Word around the traps is that culcairn played barnawartha on saturday and won with without key players playing. Ive been told that their onballers dominated without one of their key ruckman john Campbell playing. Also freund and Gostello are looking trim and both look to be in for big seasons. However i dont know how they will go when they receive the no beer policy that im sure will be put in place!
No dont know who the new recruit is but believe fruen got more kicks than he had beers on saturday night.Shoebergmust have played well too. maybe Big Al will know,i believe he was there.
