After going over the draw over the weekend, this is how the season will unfold in my opinion,
Jindera 17 wins
Culcain 17 wins
Osborne 16 wins
Crows 13 wins
Howlong 12 wins
CDHBU 11 wins
Lockhart 11 wins
Holbrook 10 wins
Walla 6 wins
Coly 5 wins
Rand/Walbundrie 5 wins
Rennie 4 wins
Henty 3 wins
Magpies 3 wins
BB Saints 1 win
Fair enough the top 3 but crows dream on be lucky to win 7 walla 10 howlong 10 henty 0 rennie 2 juddy what info have you got to predict this or just having a stab in the dark interested in reading your theory on the clubs according to the gossip mill of course...

Crows will definately win more than 7:thumbsu: Don`t sell them short nor the any other Coreen league club. The worst CDFL club from last season was probably better than than the worst hume league club.

cmon mate rennie did not win a game and i dont think bbsaints did neither but i would bet on the saints as for the crows who have they got that will push wven the middle of the road clubs they have lost kerr and legudi two major outs and picked up who that will make a difference

Just have a good look at the draw, it will go a long way in deciding who plays finals. As for the Crows they will beat R/W twice,Rennie twice, Coly twice, Magpies, Walla, Henty, BB Saints, as well as two games aganist CDHBU which could be at least one win, they would have to be a chance aganist Howlong & Lockhart at there home ground (Oaklands or Urana).
I don,t think the Crows are up to Hume standard, the finals will show that. But the Crows know they only have a few years left so they are spending up big. These guys from Mul can play, and there few locals will match it with most. Fittness & depth might (will) bring them undone.I hope they fall on there arse, but the rest of the hume league better not take them two lightly.

crows will struggle out at lockhart and howlong..

Juddy clearly said that that they may beat Howlong and Lochart at their home ground, Urana or Oaklands, fairly significant home ground advantage they have too. Oaklands ground with shitty rooms and thick Cooch grass surface. Urana odd shaped ground with light towers in side the fence one side and outside the fence on the other. Very hard to judge where the boundry is when trying to hit a target. Also, windy cold joint as well.

Holbrook rolled Rutherglen by about 9 or 10 goals, no real stand outs, but Will Nichols, Nick Pugh and Nick Aberline as kids were real good. Rutherglen Ok and were a much more even spread than in the last few years relyng on Wiz and Jules Day to get most of their kicks. Good to see to bush clubs in different leagues get together each year and be good both on and off the paddock for a solid praccy match hit out :thumbsu::thumbsu:

depleted lockhart side beat marrar by 5 goals after a shaky start early.. missing a bunch of players though

I,m pretty sure the reason that a few Henty locals play for Cul is because of the fact that Henty did'nt want any of them last year (ouch)!

I'm not sure where your mail is from NETGEAR, but it is incorrect.

Curious why you state Holbrook as biggest disappointment there axe. Any reasons behind it or just a pot shot at an opposition club?

I agree Big Al, seems odd a club rebuilding and only winning 5 or 6 games last year would have any right to be in line for disappointment - I suppoe if they won 3 it would be a disappointment?????? I would think clubs who have high expectations and have really recruited well like Culcairn or Jindera not finishing top 3 would be a disappointment?

Not long to go now and we get to talk about some serious football. Might be a bit early in the week but who's going to be the winners-actually who are playing in the first round may be a better question?

did they have anyone out, and looked like they put a seconds side on in the second half, before that held there own.

They took 40 blokes down for a run, played seniors first half & resis second half.......they pretty much played their senior side. Walla had 7 senior blokes out, word is they were at full strenght and if they didnt have Thomo would have been in a bit of trouble

mate, the current coach of culcairn put in for the assistant coach job at henty last year did'nt he? only to be shot down by the ex president.pretty sure that if henty had signed him, some of the recruits culcairn got most likely would of went to henty with him.not having a go at anyone, just stating a fact.

Doggies to take on Howlong in first round, are the spiders any chance at all???

I think spiders are a chance, they may not have the depth of previous years but still got a very good 22, 24 if they get any injuries it may stop them but this early in the season they are a big chance

Who was the gun recruit to suffer injury Big Al??

Who was the gun recruit to suffer injury Big Al??

Cas Hillary did a real good job on his ankle in the 2's game. In open space and run down from behind. I think verdict was broken the bones above his ankle, tibia and fibia, and fracture to his foot as well. Very ordinary outcome for Cas. Hope his recovery comes along well as he is a good bloke to have around the club :thumbsu:.

That is real bad luck for Casey, in a practice game always makes it a bit worse.

But are you 'SHAW' that is the injury to a gun recruit Big Al??

I think the recruit you are talking about may be Marcus Shaw who was back at Holbrook after a stint at Lavy. He has hurt his knee in a Practice game on Saturday. Not sure how bad it was but doesn't look good.

Talking about Holbrook a clearance has gone in for X-Henty Ruckman A.West. May help fill the void left by Lazza.

Nice play on word, Shawy was a bit sore, but I think he just wanted an early shower, can't give any further info than that sorry FP as obviously won't be able to get checked till this week anyway :thumbsu:.
