I know they are only a sponsor but they've been a great part of the footy club over it's history. Three premierships with Hungry Jack's on the guernsey have made them synonymous with the West Coast Eagles brand. It will be a sad day next year when we run out with Bankwest on the guernsey. We've built such a great tradition with our sponsors over the years, it's a shame the club has chosen money over it.

def has come a great part of our club history,
but apart from the money side of things a large part of the change was due to the unhealthy stigma attached to hungry jacks.

sad yes,
but having a sponsor like Bankwest,
especially being a WA company will be great, strong sponsor for us

Corporate criminals or obesity inducing products. Is it really the lesser of two evils? Hhmmm! Nah, it's just a money issue.

It's a shame as their HJ logo looked sensational on our Royal Blue jumper.

Bankwest is not West Australian.

BW must have paid a bucketload for WCE to consider changing places

The crappy orange of a BankWest logo will add to a similar ochre colour that's misplaced on an Eagles guernsey.

Unannounced pump up of Hungry Jack's products for being such a good sponsor for so many years: The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks! :D
Could think of few worse than CBA..... maybe Haliburton?

the club signed bank west for more than hj's were paying PLUS all the supporters buying the NEW jumper with NEW sponsor and jumper style will be the real money maker. 1,000 new jumpers sold = easy $120,000

Traditional sponsors? I think we have other traditions to worry about before we get too upset about them.

BankWest are comfortably the least useful organisation I have dealt with.

Having been previously owned by HBOS they're owned by CBA so they're not Western Australian, and revamping their branches (they're not "stores", you ****wits) with orange plastic and bombarding us with lame TV commercials made with stuffed toys doesn't make up for the large scale ineptitude they provide when you actually have to deal with them.:)

HJs on the other hand, conveniently located close to the train station and open late.:thumbsu:

Hats off to HJ's for being such a loyal sponsor over a long period of time.

They became my favorite fast food outlet as a kid because they sponsored us, I'm sure there are many other West Coast supporters that this applied to.

Disappointing the way our head honcho's severed ties with HJ's.
