So if Walker gets injured while Hurley is playing, it will be safe to say Hurley is miles in front then? Got it.

Tbh I think both players can be exceptional, however Walker WILL kick more goals in his career and Hurley will definetaly be a better utility player.
I would take the natural key forward everyday of the week though.

There is not a single person at an AFL club that would take Walker over Hurley. I know it, you know it, everybody knows it. Truly a mind-blowingly ridiculous thread.

Forgotten tearing your mob a new one to get us into finals 2 years ago then?Walker is looking immense at the moment. Hurley keeps getting hyped as a potential "top 30 player in the comp", but I haven't seen him deliver on it yet in his career. Revisit at end of year.

yeah, essendon supporters constantly trotting out that hawthorn game is so tiresome. i think thats a fair enough post NB.
Career goals thus far
Hurley - Walker
Age: 21, 10 months - 21, 11 months
Games: 48 - 46
Goals: 51 - 95
Behinds: 35 - 62
I'm not saying it is right or wrong, but there are quite a few people in Melbourne who share this view.
I'll take he guy who is leading the coleman with the leg like a cannon thanks![]()
should maybe take of your red and black shower cap, and have a geez whos leading the coleman after round six
Few posters in here being made to look rather silly![]()
Bloody hell; relax mate - Walker has been good this year.
Needs to work on his defensive efforts; but would be starting in the forward line of any team in the league ATM.
Be a cold day in hell before I gave up Hurley for him, and 18 clubs in the league would take Hurley without a second thought ahead of him as well.
The first six games of 2012 (of which Hurley has missed two and a bit) aren't changing that.
yeah totes dude. Walker was awesome this week whereas I don't think Hurley even got a kick!
Just curious, if you had a choice, who would you prefer?
Tex Walker or Phil Davis???
go have a look at the last five seconds of the swans crows match if you want to talk defensive efforts champ....bombers supporters seem to think hurley is the second coming, oh sorry apparently all 18 afl clubs do aswell![]()
Ill take gun forward over gun backman everyday of the week and twice on sundays...totes
Ugh.... you're one of those?
Weak.
Somebody better call Judd, Ablett, Selwood, Murphy, Mitchell, Swan, Pendlebury and co - Stanton has arguably been the best performed midfielder of the first six games this year - so clearly he's gone way past them all.
I must admit I do tire of dealing with idiocy on this site sometimes. The quality of conversation, posts and the general lack of any insight or understanding is taxing.
Franklin, Cloke, Hawkins, Crameri all have him covered or matched for contested marks, goal assists, tackles (Cloke slightly behind) and disposals.
Tell me again how awesome Walker is. He's played 50-odd games, but geez his last six have been reasonable![]()
