He played a great game today, really impressed. Looks like a star of the future.
Whilst we all agree that Rich is and will be the pick of last year's draft, Hurley isn't that far behind him and so critical to Essendon's structure going forward.

Yeah, Hurley is 22. Jarrod Atkinson (who is 38) has really impressed me with his run and carrying of the ball the last three weeks.

Yeah Atkinson looks pretty good too he's got a booming kick on him.
Very rare to see a KPP have such an impact so early. Even with an injury affected season he's pulling out BOG performances.
Bombers probably wouldn't have won without him today - influenced the game in a big way. Well done.

The thing is, we recruited him to play at Full-Back!
With Pears doing well in that spot..and Hooker taking the spot that Ryder had @ CHB, Hurley has found himself playing as a CHF/FF. His hands are amazing.
