Taken from THE AGE online:
KANGAROOS
v Sydney, SCG, Saturday night.
Not much to be cheerful about at Arden Street of late but solace has been found in the emergence of first-year players Dylan Smith, Drew Petrie and, in particular, Daniel Harris, who is this week's Rising Star nomination. Harris, 18, was among the Roos' best players against Brisbane on Sunday - and there weren't many - finishing with 24 touches and seven centre-square clearances. Originally from Rushworth in north-east Victoria, Harris was an elite junior with the Bendigo Pioneers and captained Victoria Country at the 2000 AFL national under-18 championships.
Training: today 4pm; Thursday, 4pm, Arden Street.
