Langa was in doubt yesterday but now looks almost certain that Hussy will play with Langa looking very stiff in the training today he was struggling fielding

Did he mention how his son was very lucky to be included in the squad, and how ******** Hussa's Pura Cup record is? :)

Mike Hussey's Pura Cup average is quite low, infact if he gets a game, it will only be the result of reputation.

a la Michael Clarke.

I think he only averages 2 runs less than Hodge

And that is despite having 3 terrible years in the middle of his career where he averaged in the 30s and was subsequently dropped

The 'parrot' reference to AC was based on the fat he is putiing a :) at the end of each of his posts which tends to irritate :D

From memory it's Hodge's 45 to Hussey's 43. Don't let that stop Apollo though, the thing that Australia definately needs is an overweight 36 year old walking across his stumps to fast bowlers.

Oh dear.

When have I said they should bring Lehmann back?

I've said he never should've been dropped, but in a thread the other day I said bringing him back now isn't the answer.

So c'mon provide evidence you ignorant fool.

Oh thats right you can't. Because there is none. You assume things, in this case your assumption was incorrect. But I deal in facts and an average of 43 in the Pura Cup shouldn't be good enough to get you a spot in the Australian test team.

And you know this to be the case. Thats why you don't have an argument to take me on.

And to state the absolute most obvious comparison ever,

Lehmann > Hussey,

Over his career by miles, and now by miles. Not even in the same league. One's genuine class the others a decent batsman.

Now run along, your arguing with the big boys here.

When BigFooty gets in my face,

I say "Have a nice day." :)

Clark averaged about 38 in the Pura Cup when he was selected, compared to Hussey's mid-40s. Hussey's a gun, Jaques probably should have got a game before him, but Hussey will make a big score.

Actually Clarke averaged mid 30's, more down near 35 where as Hussey averages low 40's, around 42

Hodge >>>>>>>>> Hussey

If Katich, Clarke or Watson struggle then Hussey might replace them if he does well even when Langer comes back.
Personally, if all three failed then at least two of them would need to be dropped. We can't continue to accept poor form when there is talent in form as good as Hodge Hussey and Jacques playing for their states.

Dropping both Katich and Clarke isnt an option, specially dropping Clarke as he is 1. from NSW and 2. the pin-up chick.

Only half of them are for WA

Last year he averaged 60, 40 the year before, 38 the year before, 34 the year before in the Pura Cup
