I've seen enough of this one sided marshmallow.
Turns it over when it counts and never wins a 50/50 contest.
Wallace likes him because he can run - shame he can't do anything else.
Softest player in Richmond colors.
Never got over that head clash a few years back.
Belongs at Coburg.

And how the hell does Kingsley get a game? What's the point? A forward that can't kick straight that won't be there next year? Why oh Why Terry?

what eva thats just stupid

Loved his goal on the boundry today in a period of play when the others were spraying easy shots right in front.

I tell you someone who is a wasted space on our list and thats Cant Kicksley.

I thought hyde was "ok" today, did some good things and some not so good, but i think he earnt his place in two weeks time vs the dees :thumbsu:

Completely agree with kingsley, shouldnt be getting a game ahead of some of our promising youngsters imo

where is travis casserly? at the end of the year his gone!!!!!! and i doubt u'll see him on the tigers list next year:thumbsu:

Hyde decimated Geelong in Rd 9 2006, just a year ago almost to the day. He kicked about 3-4 goals from memory, on a day the Tiges outscored us 5 goals to nil in the last quarter. He, along with Pettifer who also scored about 4 goals, looked far from duds that day. Can any Tiger fans give any explanation what in the hell has happened in just a year????

By the same token, can Richmond also take heart that each of our clubs have turned full circle in that short time, and therefore can look forward to rapid improvement next year or at least within a fairly short time? Freo went from a 2-20 season in 2001 to making the finals in 2003, and Sudney lost 20 consecutive games and won successive 'spoons i 11993-4 before making a Grand Final in 1996. Take heart Tigers, things can change quick. Who'd be thinking a year ago Geelong would be on top the following season after being 3-7? Hell, who'd have thought that 6 weeks ago??!!

LOL. You have no idea. Hyde tired in the 2nd half, which is understandable considering he has just come off an injury and the size of Subi. Was actually one of the reasons why we had such a great 1st half, and why our midfield actually looked good today. Had a hand in a handful of goals and kicked a ripper himself. One of the few who is good in tight, can evade and actually has a footy brain. Not blessed with pace or size, but better than half our list. Watch the game again Tigerdud. Should stay another year until other better young midfielders come through which is our major weakness.

GO TIGES!!!

Here here tigertRANCE.

Hyde is one of the few place who has footy smarts and picks the right option nearly every time. Always looks in board and rarely misses a target. Knows where the goals are and is good in tight.

As you said, he's not blessed with height or pace but does seem fairly strong in the hips. A fit Hyde would definately be in our starting 18 now, and at 23 I wouldn't think he will be delisted anytime in the foreseeable future.

Agree. Hyde is quite a good player and once our team is more settled he will be a dangerous player. Same with Pettifer, although he needs to harden up a bit

One of the few football brains at the club, we need hyde, polo, king, white

Players that were worse then Hyde today:
- Kingsley
- Thurstfield
- Polo
- Howatt

Thats of the top of my head

Yep, you hit the nail on the head dude. We have been bagging the wrong player . His game last night showed all his critics why he is the "wrong player" that gets bagged. i.e. he is the "wrong player".
You see he has that rare talent, only few players can aspire to. Its the one that has 3 of his total touches turning a tight game into a runaway win for the opposition. The damning thing is that he does it with regularity at a most crucial part of the game. i.e. We get the next, we are on the doorstep of icing it, he gets it and **** up. Or we are busting our butts, trying to claw back the lead, we are within a kick, he gets it and we are immediately within 2 kicks. Get the drift banana? ;)

LMAO....sheeesh...you do have NFI dont you?.
Number 34 on a top 8 sides list would be in our starting line up right now dude. We broke the longest losing opening record how long ago? , this side is going down in tiger history dude. He has been a walk up start in how many of those record breaking games? Do you not understand that? ;)

he is pretty crap so great thread :thumbsu:

the amount of times he walks along the wing bouncing the footy while richo is making leads only to **** it up is a joke

cant win his own ball in the middle which doesnt help and also has no right foot which eventually puts teammates under pressure and leads to turnovers

rubbish!

go suck on ya mummies penis again plsc

Your right, Chris Hyde, all by himself lost as the game... :o

oh yeah you forgot that we are a team full of kids with a great future. You do realise we got rid of the Szillers, Hudsons and Frawleys a few years ago now do you? We have been a chance in 9 out of 11 games and we are going to improve 20% next year. You do realise that don't you or are you stuck in 2001 mode?

Which Hyde isn't a part of, two slow, takes the wrong option to often by running with it which screws up the momentum of our play because he is so damn slow.
Like I have said, praising players like Hyde saying they should be in our best 18.
Embracing mediocrity, we will NEVER get anywhere with VFL players walking into the team

Is this because he doesn't have options up the ground? I actually think sometimes when guys run from half back and look for a target, there is just nothing there, and then they get crucified. Got to have a look at the big picture here.

I think you are confusing Hyde with Johnson. I guess they both have blonde hair. :thumbsu:

yeah, sometimes you wonder what game some of these people are watching. Hyde has great pace over the first 10m and evasive skills are excellent. He has kicked some excellent goals over the last couple of seasons
