I do enjoy your posts, Jello_B. But I'm a bit confused with this one.
I'm not saying native culture isn't important. I think it's very important and I'm sad that so much of it is being lost forever, around the world.
The_Snake was talking about a 'white genocide' as an agenda of 'the left'.
And his point was that native born Germans are becoming a minority.
I tried to get some clarity as to what native born meant. You must be born in Germany to be a native born? Or both of your parents must be born in Germany? Or both of your parents and both of their parents?
So I'm not really sure what you're talking about.
Interesting question you have there, the validity of nativity - for example I'm a 2nd gen Australian i:e I have 1 parent born in Australia and 1 born overseas. How valid does that make me?
What I believe is more important is the bolded, native culture I gather you mean the identity of the nation itself i:e Germany's is about drinking beer; being super efficient in what they do, wear lederhosen, eat christmas schtollen and the like. That may sound sterotypical but they are examples of what you could identify as being a German, right?
So whoever makes their way there with a different cultural identity for example a staunch muslim would have a difficult and resistful time in assimilating or for want of a better term "joining in with the locals". And I think that's where the issue lies - it's not the ethnicity that's an issue it's mixture of cultures that cause the issue.
You're going to have a real hard time convincing a devout muslim to embrace the culture of westernised country such as Germany, however if they don't and oppose the cultures of the new land they've adopted well then there's a problem isn't there. To me that is excluding yourself and being part of the problem
I believe this is the crux of so called "right wing bigots" fear of losing their identity, for example in Australia there's been a push to ban christmas carols at schools to appease a minority. On face value that seems unfair to the majority and it is.
It seems that if you're a native or not but "do as the romans do when in Rome" and request that everyone else in the land "join in" you're are deemed a racist or bigot even though that is simply not true for obvious reasons.
