He reckons the market will take care of it and it'll be fine because everyone has an iPhone now. Seriously.



That's what happens in the third world and that's why you have factories collapsing in Bangladesh, killing hundreds of people. What does he think happened at the Grenfell Tower in London? Rubin reckons you could remove regulations about safety in construction methods and the market would ensure people don't do crazy, expedient, life-endangering s**t. Imbecile. Rogan pushed back on his pretty effectively.

Given the current political climate is geared towards an aversion towards all things truly progressive......See Bernie Sanders & the corrupted 2 party corporate owned system in the U.S, for example.....Then how on earth would you know?

What we are seeing in the U.S over these past 40 years, & the slow creep in all Western countries in general, is an evisceration of all those egalitarian rights & social justices mankind has fought for over the preceding century.....A full-on social regression at the hands of the economic elites, who are only interested in an inauguration of a new master/slave class.....The decimation of the middle class & the continued push of the tax burden onto ordinary workers, in every context possible should be ample enough proof of that.

What a true social progression would look like, is where the majority of workers lives slowly improves in every aspect, where our technology enables us to work less & less hours for higher wages, thus improving the standard of life, by removing the burden of debt stress & economic slavery to our corporate banking masters.....That is what a truly progressive society is all about....Making life better for all of us & not just the top 5% at the expense of the many.

Progressives are about a holistic approach to humanity, society, the earth & $$$$…..Unfortunately the rule of economic rationalism means that $$$$ trumps all those other things & in fact decreases our quality of life across the broader spectrum....It actually destroys communities rather than binding them together.
