The latter is merely a statement of fact....If you don't love this country you can indeed leave. It's not saying you have to, or that you need to love everything about the country, it's merely stating an option.

Rubbish. The whole "love it or leave it", "f*** off, we're full", "I grew here, you flew here" bullshit is a direct threat to those who want people to assimilate to a "certain" way of life and belief system and has been the cat call for people of this persuasion for decades.

A personal insult is up to you if you take it onboard, however this is a broad brushed attempt at intimidation and assimilation.

Over all I think the way things are expressed these days is just so anti social & downright childish. Their is no need for the language used. Indeed the negativity & division caused by the way politicians are operating is not good for a positive & healthy Democracy. The media are as much to blame as anyone. They seem only interested in death, violence, argument, division, fear & misery.

So as I've indicated before, a 'Pox' on both political houses. Really no one has a mortgage on 'hypocrisy'. However the tone of any debate is very much in the hands of the political elite. The current 'adults' need to look in a mirror. They could change an awful lot of this if they choose to.
