The AFL struggle to choose more than 2 AA KPF but are happy having 10 or 12 midfielders. If you are expanding elite forwards to 6 or 8 then you can easily expand the midfielders to 30.
Darcy has played 15 games for 45 goals. Cameron is the only one ahead of averages.
Why would the All-Australian Team have more than 2 KPF? Are you saying Sam Darcy is going to be one of them this year?
More midfielders are picked as they are more valuable then other positions on the ground.
Midfielders, especially those that are elite, can play multiple positions on the ground having far more impact.
