Brissy hand token late picks for Duryea & Hodge, also land pick 18 compo for Rocky.

Bris IN: Duryea, Hodge, pick 18.
Haw IN: Rocky, pick 73, pick 91

Don't mind this. Only problem is that I've heard that Rockliff to Carlton is a good as done.

Hodge, Duryea, Whitecross, 32 & 79 for 18

We get a better pick and Brisbane get a later pick as they don't have a 4th rounder and some good experience & depth + a legend & one of the leagues best leaders in Hodge

18 & 60 for 16 & 71

Richmond get more points for Naish and we get a 1st to use in the draft to fulfil the 2 1sts in 4 years rule.

We have 16, 42 & 71 + Pick 97 to use an a rookie promotion

Impey interest would suggest that Poppy & probably Doc are gone.
I like it.
Cost will be interesting...
I'm really looking to see how active we are in the off season.
3-4 lesser lights is looking more & more likely every day.

Impey
Balic
Thompson
Lamb

If there's was a sneaky chance at Schache I'd be pretty happy with that as well

That's not bad! Would require Duyrea to want to go to Brisbane and rescind his free agency rights though.

Always thought Impey is a bit of a spud but I think the Hawks know Poppy is either gone or on his last legs.

Would be a decent replacement.

Do we think Poppy is on his last legs?
He would have another year at most. Showed signs of ageing this year despite being pretty good but he's not the beast he once was IMO.

Lost a bit of speed and some penetration in his kicking which is usually the first signs that a player is starting to hit the wall.

i'm wondering if most of poppy's issues this year are more to do with injuries than age. I do get the feeling that he is likely the type that will start to get lost of niggles from now on so his form this year might be more consistent with what we would expect from now on,

Poppy's review on the Hawks site said he was averaging most tackles per game of his career and second highest goals per game.

I don't think he is cooked at all. Looked quite good in the last two games.
His interview two weeks ago was interesting as well.

If we don't get Rocky I would be asking for a end 2nd for Duryea (trade or FA) and the same for hodge.

That would give us three second rounders.

Add a first rounder to that and we could get another O'Meara!

Ex partner has spilt the beans in the Herald Sun - gambling and family issues as I said.
Ex partner must be an absolute dickhead: 1. She chose stringer and
2. blurted it out through the media.
What sort of person goes to the media with the dirty laundry.., albeit Stringers laundry mostly.

I'd think mostly speculation based on the fact we think he won't be here next year and has a relationship with Fagan

I have no idea where he will land
I guess if we wanted him he could be included in a Hodge trade as I noticed it's mentioned he's a FA and we won't want to ruin any compo we get if Rocky leaves.
