Situation 1
There is a trolley coming down the tracks and ahead, there are five people tied to the tracks and are unable to move. The trolley will continue coming and will kill the five people. There is nothing you can do to rescue the five people EXCEPT that there is a lever. If you pull the lever, the train will be directed to another track, which has ONE person tied to it. You have two choices:
(a) Do nothing and the five people will die
(b) Or pull the lever and save the five people, but that one person will die.

However, in this situation, you are standing on a bridge above the train tracks and you can see the train coming. There is a man standing next to you, who is so enormous and heavy that if he places himself in front of the oncoming train, it will hit and kill him but the train will stop. So you have two choices
(a) Do nothing and the five people will die.
(b) Push the big guy down the bridge. He will be killed but will stop the trolley and save the five people.

Shows how so much of this is in the wording, as studies have shown that the majority pick b) for situation 1 and a) for situation 2, even though both involve sacrificing one person to save the lives of five people. It's because pushing someone is far more personal than pulling a lever, even if the outcome is the same

And FWIW- the ONE movie and ONE TV Series i would choose... so bloody hard but i'd go Six Feet Under (drama and some comedy win/win) and movie... maybe Silence of the Lambs. But a comedy may be a better option, eg. National Lampoons series.

For me it's such an easy yes. I'm not a movie or a tv show person. If you replaced movie /tv series with books/sport on TV -then I definitely wouldn't take the money.

Another easy one- always 15C for me please (My dad used to do FIFO in Singapore so I've spent a fair bit of time there- and I hated that weather)
I've always been a winter girl (so yes- not well suited to Perth in that regard ) . If it's a choice between always 0C or always 30C- always 30C please, but it's a tougher decision than you might expect.
