The game waits in limbo while “The Dill’s” hand picked saviour “Greg “Swannie” Swan” awaits the arrival of his new office furniture at AFL House. Murmurs from Swannie like “The Games In Good Shape” can only bring another bout of “Here We Go Again” from those fans that are living in hope our once great game might survive.
Jobs for ya Swannie
1. Sack the Umpires Department, the lot of them no questions, get out, on your way.
2. Replace the umpires with the kids who control the little league at half time. (They can’t be any worse)
3. Re instate the rule book from the 70’s n 80’s. Non of this interpretation shit. Clear cut, you drop the ball free kick, you get caught holding the ball, free kick.
4. Trawl the archives and find any still living umpires from the above time and put them on the coaching panel. The rules weren’t that hard back then.
For simple starting points, get on with it. And by the way Swannie the games “NOT” in great shape.
