I don't know if I'm being overly sensitive, particularly after reaming the slime when I should be feeling gracious, but I just read an article by Braden Quartermaine from the Perthnow(Sunday Times) website.
After firstly highlighting an off-camera / behind play incident where Scott Selwood was left lying on the ground "dazed", he then goes on to say:
"The Pavlich incident came after another flashpoint between Adam Selwood and Ryan Crowley earlier in the second term. Crowley appeared to instigate contact as he came from behind Selwood and contact was what he got as the Eagle threw his right elbow back and collected Crowley high."
Is that how anybody else saw it? That pink faced, dirty Adam Selwood just launches his elbow into Crowley's face & this hack explains it as being "instigated" by Crowley - as if he got what he deserved.

That is how I seen it. Crowley went to bump him from behind and Selwood stood his ground. Yes he did have a sneaky glance over his shoulder to see where Crowley was but it's his own fault he copped one.
Crowley ran up behind Selwood to give him a raz and was vicously assaulted in a cowardly attack from Selwood.
Ryan Crowley was left stunned after Selwood brutally collected him with the point of his elbow in a behind the ball
incident which will certainly be looked at by the Match Review panel.
Fremantle club doctors were last night concerned for Crowley's well being after suffering a bout of dizziness and blurred
vision.
Concusson tests conducted on Crowley immediately after the assault were inconclusive and an examintaion by a Neurological
specialist is expected at Fremantle Hospital on Sunday.
Ryan's parents in Victoria were contacted by club officials to assure them that all possible steps will taken by the club to
ensure Ryan suffers no long term effects from the vicious attack.
A sombre Chris Bond appeared to be upset that the malicious actions of Selwood didn't even attract a free kick.
It is believed an official complaint will be lodged with the AFL over the attack.

Evidently a thrashing only occurs up to an eight goal margin. Then the mercy rule is invoked and wins by more than that margin are simply referred to as a "victory"!!!

I watched some of the Sunday Footy show today being stupid enough to think that with only 2 games on they might talk about Freo a bit but no, we had Dyson Hepple, Garry Rodgers and lots of talk about the big games coming up in Victoria next weekend. Adelaide got talked about a bit because they were the ones who played Essendon.

Yeah I watched too, making the same mistake.
I think they managed to give our game about 5 minutes in an hour long show when there was only two games to talk about. The one on the other channel was much the same too.

Billy Brownless went off his nutter about how the season opener should've been played in Melbourne because "Melbourne is the heart of football". Nathan Brown then hit back saying how he was at the Derby and how great the game and the atmosphere was. Bill is such a one-eyed Victorian fat ****.

The Foxfooty show " After the Bounce " made mention only of the Adelaide Essendon game.
I switched off the Ch9 Footy show years ago because of it's ridiculousness and now this show
with Dunstall , Frawley, Lynch and Andrew Gaze has just plunged the same depths.
They are not comedians and don't cover the football in depth.
It is basically nothing.

Someone forgot to tell them that. I switched off that show years ago when they started devoting more time to dressing up in costumes for lame three stooges skits than actually talking about football.
It's a sad state of affairs when Footy Classified is the best footy show on FTA by a massive margin.
