After dropping by to see what sort of crap the Essendon supporters were talking about and how cocky they are about Friday night, I was infuriated to read some of the garbage posted here by stupid and ignorant Dogs supporters.
Sure, sure, you were missing Grant, Darcy, Kingsley and Dimattina got injured. If you weren't the stupid idiots you know you are you would have realised that the champion in Craig Bradley, who is alone better than the four Bulldogs duds put together and doubled, did not play, along with a very quality backman in Ang Christou and also one of Carltons best players this year, Adrian Hickmott.
Also, the free kick count was appauling. 26 to 9 free kicks in a game of only 3 points the difference. Especially the last one right in front of goal which was absolutely bloody ridiculous and even a Bulldogs supporter would have to realise that!
Finally, you couldn't possibly think that Carlton were upset by their loss to you. It was quite obviouswhen Fevola and Chatfield came in as emergencys that they weren't too bothered about playing you and that they felt no need to overexert themselves against a shit side before Fridays game.
I was not overly upset with the loss. Sure, it was disappointing, but it is not the end of the world. It mayjust be the wakeup call the Blues needed, and just in time for the blockbuster and finals matches.
We've got second spot sewn up anyway, with games against Port and Richmond who aren't that good and whom we thrashed in the opening part of the season.
So, go ahead, bask in your umpire given glory. Maybe even let it carry over to next week, because you're playing Collingwood, and lets face it, who cantbeat them these days!But when you are humiliated by our top two buddy Essendon you'll be bloody sorry you even tried to make yourselves look like finals contenders.
The Western Bulldogs are a disgrace to the league and I hope Wallace gets the sack. Libba is the most foul person I have ever encountered and Brad Johnson not much better. What did he think he was doing trying to annoy Kouta. One push is all it would take for Kouta to knock little Braddy boy out cold.

He could learn a thing or two from Johnson and Libba who week in week out give 150% and use every bit of God given talent at their disposal to give their all for the jumper. Unlike the 27 yo underachieving Kouta, who has every physical assett you could ever hope for. He's been around as long as Hird (he had three years out of the game) and only this year he's lived up to his potential. Onya Kouta.

I don't think we (Essendon) will get a chance to play Carlton, because North will beat them in week one, and they may go out in straight sets.

Carlton like to choke in finals. Choking is under-performing, when you should be performing. Look at 1994..... Two bad finals losses. Look at 1996. Two thrashings. 1999 was similar......two absolute thrashings in the finals.

Carlton seem to save their worst losses for finals. I can't remember a finals loss where the Blues actually performed credibally. You probably have to go back to the 1983 elimination final to find the last Carlton finals loss where they actually played "OK"

Every other loss since then has been "tragic"

At least we always perform. When we lose, we only just lose, and when we win, we win BIG.

I think a "straight sets" Carlton exit is certainly possible. Unlikely, but possible. I might go to the TAB and put money on it. You'll be ble to get a great price, and I think it has a pretty reasonable chance of happening.
