Hard to argue with the facts in your post but I'll be mischievous and add a few more if I may.I know it's a big ask for certain people to calm down and have a rational look at this year compared to last, but we have improved and tracking in the right direction with a very young team.
We've had a much better second half to the year than last year where we were getting flogged and never looked like winning.
We should've beaten Hawthorn and Sydney but for goal kicking and took it Freo in Perth. Yes the Richmond game was bad, every team has a couple of bad games every season, ours were Richmond, Melbourne and Geelong.
Bucks has us on the right path
We looked completely outclassed against the Crows and the Eagles, never looked like beating the Dogs, played North, Hawthorn, Freo and Sydney at an opportune time and were 3 points up with 10 minutes to go against a clearly tanking carlton.
There's an obvious an inevitable improvement in our younger players, our best became slightly better, we haven't been at our worst as often but also had a better luck with injury and easier draw, so on the whole this and last season are on par IMO.
