If you don't agree or are offended by what someone else has said, respond to the facts, point out any discrepencies, and back them up with the correct information. These personal insults and constant use of profanities are doing no-one any good. Especially other supporters of Collingwood, who are going to be labelled by your actions, and that isn't fair on them at all.

I have had the opportunity to chat with a few of you Collingwood supporters in the chat room, and the experience has been nothing but pleasant and informative.

Which is, more or less, what you said happened to you at Nick's site.

I suppose the difference is that Nick's is a site specifically for Collingwood fans ... and I think it's pretty well understood that outsiders go there at their peril. Whereas this is supposed to be a site for footy fans generally.

mellows is no longer a registered member of Nick's bb - I removed her very quickly and painlessly. I will do that every time someone visits Nick's board just to slag off the Pies and then starts to whinge about freedom of speech when the posts are removed.

You may or may not have noticed that you did not get the same treatment. I have come to regard you as one of the more thoughtful contributors on Big Footy and was , in fact, surprised to see you dipping your toes in the same water as the likes of 'mellows' and jubjub. I accepted your reply in the manner in which it was offered, but, now, having seen this thread, am wondering if that was honest.

The normal tactic of the idiot has been to visit Nick's bb, bait the locals, and then run back here with stories, inviting the users of this board to go hand have a look at the terrible things that were said. The obvious conclusion is that it is an attempt to start some sort of war between the boards.

I believe that you have the intelligence to understand, as Alf has already pointed out, that Nick's bb is team specific - it's a Collingwood board. So what if we slag off other teams or as, Sandie delights in reporting, our own team? We're doing it amongst ourselves - that is the difference and it's a big difference.

You're welcome on Nick's board as long as you remember that we're Collingwood and you're not and that you will obviously be subjected, quite rightfully, to flack for that reason alone.

I actually had a look at the thread your all on about, and thought Mike was very quick to come running in, threatening to delete posts and de-register Walshy, over what was really a pretty gentle ribbing of the Pies.

I also cant beleive certain Pies fans on here who are having a moan about their site being visited by non-collingwood fans, when they brought it upon themselves by trying to "invade" this site, telling everyone about Nicks page, and even posting links to it, and saying how great it was blah blah blah.
