Someone's frustrated that a near full strength Kangaroos hardly beat an insipid, weakened-strength Collingwood side.

I think that statement can be a bit misleading.
Yes we did have most of our best players in, the obvious outs were Rawlings. our B&F winner last year and Motlop. But most of these guys are very young.
That has been the main reason that the Roos have fallen away in the last year. Hopefully with another year under their belts (jock strap) we will make the 8 this year.
And any one who says that the Roos are top 4 are dreaming. It would be great, but it won't happen.

As for Fridays game, it was always going to be hard to beat the Pies as we all know that you guys have had the "wood" on us for years, plus the emotion from last weeks win was still strong.

Wiyhout doubt, if Rocca hadn't of injured his leg it would have been "light out Roos"
Also interesting is that our midfield, what we consider our strength, was soundly beaten all night, and from reading your posts, most of you consider this to be Collingwoods weakness.

As for umpires... well we think you got a better deal :D

Can I get a level headed response in regards to the scumps? If they set the standard by paying a free kick to Thompson in the goal square, then how many did Caracella miss out on based on the same criteria and level of interference. My only bitch about the umpires.

I still have a MASSIVE GRIN on my face. But the underlining of Redd's post can't be further than the truth. I think that winning the way we have will bring a stronger mental edge but we all know that the game was lost by the Pies than North getting to the line. Much maligned R.Shaw didn't lower his colours to Wells at all. (although Wells got touches) Thought he gave you something. 4-0 is good but next week is a mystery. Good luck vs the cellar dwellers.

He got one in the second for holding, which was rubbish. He kicked a goal from it. What about the down fielder to Rocca. Right in front of me. Rubbish. The holding paid against Grant just before half time. Rubbish. There was one 5 minutes before that which was dubious. Mark taken off him.

Umpires suck, but if you think we got gifted on the night I honestly give up.
