I can't create a convo with anyone

Hi guys

I can't seem to DM or create a conversation with any members, like the create new button just isn't there?

Why is this happening?

Does it have anything to do with my long time lurking and almost never posting?

Post in a few threads and you will get the ability to start convos.

When you post in a few threads you will get that privilege added automatically.

Also when I post in certain threads it says my comments are waiting for approval by mods?
Only when I post a GIF/ link to a website. Is that another feature I will unlock eventually? Thanks
