I don't understand!!

I have no idea why Channel Ten are telecasting the Port Adelaide v Richmond game on saturday arvo instead of the mighty magpies v rivals carlton. This just seems idiotic to me. I reckon all of 37 people will watch that game between two of the most broing teams in the afl. The pies blues match will be great. It will be firey, fierce and probably a brawl at some stage.
But i dont really mind as a will be sitting on the wing at the game cheering the fellas on. I just think that 10 could lose alot of dosh out of this decision. This means that everyone who can make it to the MCG should and lets see how big a crowd we can get. I'm really hoping of something over 70000. How big do you guys reckon it will be??

I dont think 10 chose that game, I am pretty sure Fox had first choice. I could be wrong though.

from memory foxtel had first choice on about 4 games. i would assume this was one of them.

They do it on purpose... now people who don't have pay tv who were choosing whether or not to go to the game will go because they can't watch it any other way.
