I couldn't give a damn, whether it is stupid or not, not wanting judd at essendon, it is not going to happen either way, I don't know why some essendon supporters are so excited about it happening, I can tell you now that you are going to be bitterly disappointed when he overlooks this club, we never snare the big names, and once again we thankfully, won't.

You might be right and we MAY not get him BUT of course we are going to be excited to be a CHANCE of getting one of the best players in the comp, who plays in a position we desperately need some help in.

He could make a massive difference to our team for many years to come, why not be excited?

Just keep it in perspective.

Secondly a few glarring points need to be responded to, some peanut commented that West Coast and Sydney won GF by a point, hey moron they were in a grand final. Surely you cant say we played well against richmond and melbourne?

Also there is a very big difference in that post than the posts of the other poster who that message was directed to.

Below is a list of the number 6 picks for the past few years, apart from Sampi and Salopek I can't see any good players, yes I'm ignoring Cupido for he was a let down at bomberland.

pick 6 2007: Mitch Thorpe Hawks
pick 6 2006: Beau Dowler Hawks
pick 6 2005: Tom Williams Dogs
pick 6 2004: Kepler Bradley Dons
pick 6 2003: Steven Salopek Port
pick 6 2002: Ashley Sampi Eagles
pick 6 2001: Dylan Smith Roo's
pick 6 2000: Damian Cupido Lions

sampi looked good but went off the rails. salopek is coming good, and will be a very very handy player. The jury is out on bradley, but if played in the right position i think he'll be ok. Williams played some good footy late in the year, and is coming from a non-footy background, so he'll take a little while but i think he'll be ok. Dowler and thorpe haven't had much of a run yet, but both can really play the game. I reckon most of the guys on your list will be at least decent AFL players, some will be very good, and thorpe could be anything. "No good players" is far too premature a call.
