One thing was obvious tonight, the lack of some real speadsters to break the lines with running rather than our normal play, which was not working tonight. This is not me having a crack at anyone just an observation of horses for courses policy. You can see Bucks was thinking that way when he dropped Brown and put in Marty but I think maybe the wrong irishman was in the side. Not that Mooney would have made a difference but a bit of leg speed would have been useful stopping Yarran.

Truth. Even Hawthorn looked quick against us when they thrashed us last week.
Talking raw speed though, I don't know how many players could go with Yarran when he gets those bursts on. Better off to just cut his supply and again, that's a team effort thing.
If you guys happen to belt Geelong next week I'm sure everyone will be back to talking about how old and slow they are and how dominant Collingwood are.
