I got myself in strife on the weekend, said all this really nice soppy stuff to a female friend in a bold attempt to get some action - didn't work - now this week it appears she has changed her mind whilst I have sobered up. D'oh!

What do youse wanna know all the horribel stuff I went through to get him to even talk to me how ****ing hard and terrible it was to be rejected. All i can say is games are for losers and iwas toatlly upfront with him never played any games and he knew I liked him he was waiting for me to make a fool of myself.... just waiting. My confidence is shattered and I actually do not believe I will ask another guy again out EVER if he ain't making the moves it just won't happen.
I seriously misjudged and I'm paying big time. Life really is horrible hey you only have yourself and thats sometimes not enough either. Laugh if you will but it took a lot of courage to ask him nerves of steel I'm spontaneous though so I dunno it was a split secong thing i now wish I had never done.

been there, done it and got the t-shirt

when I was 16 I asked out a guy that I'd liked since I was 13 and my response was "I'll think about it and let you know..."

a day passed, then a week, then a month....it was pretty shattering. I would have much rather have gotten a flat out no than a maybe. Took me awhile to get over it but in hindsight it was a blessing, it would have never gone anywhere. I still had a crush on the guy he was when he was 12, and not the poobumhead (because that's about the strongest word you can use on Bigfooty) that he became when he was 16 and he's ego had been inflated to the size of Kim Beasley's gut.

Success is the sweetest revenge...what you're going through is a hiccup but its definately not the end of the world! Just the beginning of a very steep learning curve that you'll go through as you get older.
