If you ever get the feeling that people really don't respect Essendon, just go to the two or three threads that got posted after the Grand Final and take note of all the non-Essendon fans (especially a few of my fellow North fans.....and I think we've been extra-gracious considering the number of Essendon fans here who have been very bitter about us winning the 1999 Premiership) who congratulated your team on their premiership.

Take the good with the bad, and if my advice doesn't help, just watch the tape of the 2000 Grand Final.
