I know...but Champ Man again!

I played a little bit this morning and am not happy!. In a pre season friendly against a Brazilian side Alonso ruptured three discs in his back and is out for eight months.

I went looking for a DCM to fill his role and bought Benfica veteren Peixe (30 years old) for 500,000. I've also looked into getting this youngs midfielder called Gonzalez from Racing Club in Argentina for 300,000.

My team is going okay. Peixe fills Alonso's role well enough that we cope. My first League match was against West Ham at Highbury and we won 3-0 - Henry brace.

I want to sign someone else before the transfer deadline, though ... really need a new 'keeper.

With a lineup like that you should win something mate.

Most of my top players are now around the 30 mark so I've been selling a bit and buying some younger players. Got a great young CB from Charlton called Jonathon Fortune, also a great young left winger from Man City to replace Viana (who is tearing them up at Madrid btw). Ameobi is pretty young (mid 20s) and if you read my previous update youll know that he basically stood up and single handedly won me the Premier league. So I'm starting to bring some good youngsters through for the 'next generation'.

I was also offered the position of England manager, so I took it. I'll be guiding them through the qualifications for Euro 2012. It's great to be able to finally have Gerrard and Owen in my side:D though I've been offered the Pool manager spot a couple of times).

Next goal is to win back to back Premier Leagues and now win the Champs League. I am pretty sure I have the side to do it though it's not as star studded as jods.

btw I've been using the same 4-4-2 tactic for about 12 seasons now:D Sometimes I use an AMC & DMC as well but I never know whether to change passing to through the middle or not.

Well it would seem that way wouldnt it with a star studded lineup like mine. But I still cant win anything...well this season has only just begun but it is already going all wrong. I finished 3rd the previous year so i had to qualify for the CL and bloody lost to Galatasaray!!

But Im in the top 3 early in the premiership. So now im concentrating on winning everything domestically and going as far as I can in the UEFA. The big prize again has to wait a year though which is frustrating. Particularly with Nedved probably in his final season.

I got the France job aswell btw so Im currently qualifying for the upcoming world cup.

Finished a 4th season, and won the title, with my Fulham boys.

Sensational effort if i do say so myself.

Will be starting a multiplayer season with my friend next weekend, looking forward to it.

Well in my cm 01/02 i had liverpool and i destroyed the premiership in the year 2006 finishing a massive 18 points ahead of surprise packets blackburn. In that same season Arsenal were relegated and chelsea just avoided the drop, everton also having their problems in division 3. Anyway i cleaned up everything, i won the charity shield and european super cup, then went on to win the league cup and f.a cup, the league was already stiched up by this time.

It was all left to win the big champions league final to do a clean sweep of everything, i faced an inconsistent premiership side in the form of man.u in the final however they are dangerous on their day. It looked like a smooth ride especially when owen put away his hatrick to make it 3-0 on the hour mark. Out of nowhere i witnessed the comeback from hell. Giggs pulls one back in the 70th minute, silvestre glances a header into the far post to make it 3-2 in the 82nd minute, then complete tragedy struck, 89th minute scholes is brought down by dudek and a penalty is given, dudek is sent of and i replace him with kirkland. Van nistelrooy makes no mistake from the spot and the game is tied at 3-3 yet there would be more drama, in the 94th minute giggs goes on a run and brings the ball into the box where would you believe it he is brought down by kirkland, penalty is awarded, kirkland is sent off and neil mellor was placed in goals to try and save the day, van nistelrooy sticks the ball in the net, nothing an outfield player can do to save it and manchester win the champions league final with the scoreline being 4-3.

Somehow my saved file has vanished so I've had to start again. The last 'session' I played was pretty dour. I had no strikers fit at all except for Bentley and Aliadiere (still way too young at this stage, 02/03). Henry dislocated his shoulder, Bergkamp tore his hamstring, Reyes suffered a thigh strain and Jeffers was out on loan to Feyenoord ... argh!!

I've started again because the saved file is vanished. Up until then I was doing absolutely awesome in the Champions League. After matchday three I was undefeated with results of: Arsenal 4 - 0 O'Lyon, Spartak Moscow 0 - 3 Arsenal and Arsenal 5 - 2 Sporting Lisbon.

The league wasn't as good. I was sitting third after seven matches, losing to Newcastle 2-1 at SJP (can NEVER win there) and ... West Bromwich Albion 1-0 at The Hawthorns. The real surprise packets of the season? Tottenham and Everton leading the table!!

In the new game, I haven't even started pre season. I plan on having a huge session not this weekend but the weekend after when my exams and assignments for the term should be over, so I'll have three maybe four weeks off to play it.

As a side note: Moritz Volz is an awesome right back at Arsenal, if you need one I suggest buying him. He played for four months while Lauren recovered from a groin tear. Yes, my whole team was practically injured - Pires is still on the come back trail :(.

Also, if you need a very cheap backup DM, I suggest looking at Benfica's Emilio Peixe. I bought him for 500,000 pounds and he slotted in very nicely as my huge injuries built up.

Well, I kind of ran into a brick wall with my essay writing so I thought I'd play again for a little while on my new season. Still unhappy about that .

I've played two friendlies so far. One against Monchangladbach in Germany, where I won 2-0 and then one against Trabzonspor in Turkey, where I won 4-0.

The only player I've looked to bring in is Emilio Peixe again. I'm waiting for someone to look into Ljungberg before I go after Etxeberria or Alonso again. I need to get some more depth on my left side while Pires and Ljungberg are both out injured. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Well my season that started with so much promise and expectations. The arrivals of Joaquin and Henry, CL football, the season looked full of promise but it's all gone wrong.

As I stated earlier we got bumped from the CL qualifying by Galatasaray and proceeded to lose to some no name Norwegian team in the 3rd round of the UEFA Cup. Lost in the league cup so all Ive got left is the League and the FA Cup.

Its been a year ruined by injury. Gerrard has played just 8 games. Owen just 15. Others to have spent lengthy time on the injury list include Murphy, Keane, Nedved, Heitinga, Joaquin....add to that the downright shocking form of Pirlo, Henry, D'Alessandro and the endless suspensions. Henry and Joaquin have both missed 4 games through suspension, Hofland 3 games and Buxton too has missed a few games through suspension. Diof hasnt been the same player that has netted him the last 3 African Footballer of the Year awards and it all adds up to one frustrating, no silverware season!!!

Still...im still alive in the FA Cup and with about 10 games to go Im behind Man U by 8 points with a game in hand for the Premiership. Bolton who have become a powerhouse club are second with Arse 3rd and us fourth.

It's extremely tight too with only about 6 points separating 3rd from 9th. It's pretty crazy so Im fighting for the Premiership and just qualifying for the CL at the same time....

Ill be back with how the season pans out after I finish it off tonight.

I am half way through my season, and I don't want to but the jinx on it but I am going amazingly well. 20 games in and I have won 16 and drawn 3. My goal difference is 55-9 and I have built up a 10 point lead on my nearest rival having won 10 games in a row currently:D

I have qualified for the 2nd round of the CL, but I have to play AC Milan. I am confident however because I seemed to cruise through a bit of a "group of death", beating Bayern Munich and Juventus even in way games quite easily.

I feel kinda sorrow for Michael Owen, he has gone through his whole career with no trophies for about 10 years, I feel like buying him just so I can give him a Premier League title:D

Anyway when things are going well they are going well.

Half way through my season at Villa. I think im 4th in the league which is a log jam atm except for Boro on top about 6-9pts ahead of Arsenal and Leicester dead last with 4 pts...about 13 behind the team in 19th. Im the only team to beat Boro atm and have them in the 4th round of the UEFA Cup coming up. Knocked out by arsenal in the league cup 4th round and im through to the fa cup 4th round.
league record 12-0-7 36pts. Best win was a home 7-2 win over Liverpool :D. Ive won 5 games in a row in all competitions so hopefully that can continue.

Just had a little play then for an hour.

My league form is woeful! 1-0 over WBA, 3-1 loss to Sunderland and a 1-1 draw with Villa sees me sitting 10th. Weirdly enough, my Champions League form has been pretty damn good. 0-0 draw in Istanbul (Fenerbahce), 4-0 over Olympiakos in London and a 1-0 win over Lyonnais in France.

Unfortunately injuries keep cropping up after every match. Henry is out for three weeks with a 'gashed leg' - what a load of bollocks. Then you lose Vieira and Lauren with the same thing.

I've been sniffing around South America to get D'Alessandro but nothing yet, and I'm hounding Athletic Bilbao to land Ezquerro. Next match is against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, they're in 8th. If I can't win this one then I'm in serious trouble.

Well I won the Premier League for the 2nd year running, built up a strong lead early and never relented, only lost 3 games, my away form was amazing, that won me the title for sure, but unfortunately I lost to AC Milan and didn't even make the quarters of the Champs League.

Next goal is to do the hatrick of Premier League titles, although my team is starting to age a little. I have become a legend of St James Park:D

Is it so abnormal to have such terrible away form?

Mine has ****ing scheduled four away games in a row (Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Chelsea and Man United - all defeats) and I can't even score.

I'm now in 17th because of this. But I won my Group in the CL without losing a game or conceeding an away goal - there's got to be some sort of glitch.

I was playing my season with liverpool, anyway i couldnt take the poor away form, so as of this morning im playing at the international level, im trying to take greece to euro 2004, and im on top. All my victories so far have been 1-0, oh well at least its a bit realistic.

Can anyone recommend any good young goalkeepers? My keeper is 32yrs old, and the backup isn't upto being the #1 keeper. I looked at Costanzo and Cech, but neithers club is willing to give them up, and I don't have the funds to spend on a top line keeper.

So, anyone know of any hidden gems I could grab?

I finally get Henry and the game freezes up on me!!!

I have to start all over again now.

Have you installed any unofficial updates? Never put those on. They may look like they work but the file slowly corrupts over seasons and it is inevitable that it will crash.

Just started the new league season with Ajax. First up match was a 1-1 draw with NEC. Everything was going alright until Mido had to kick one of the NEC attackers at a corner and give away a penalty.

For the winter break in January I've scheduled two tournaments, involving: Boca Juniros, River Plate, Lokomotiv Moscow, Cruzeiro, Urawa Red Diamonds and Tottenham. Should be fun.

Other than that, everything is fine. Feyenoord is sitting last after one match :D

I play on the XBox so that isnt an issue. Weird though that on the same day it freezes up? I can reload my current career and play until the set date and it crashes again??

Strange...oh well, this time i might randomly pick a Division 2 side and try to take them to the Champions League title :D

Actually, the exact same thing used to happen to me playing the older versions of CM (CM 02/03). I saved the game just before the crash date, and after a few tries I got through it and the game went on (try going on holiday and letting the computer run through it, might work  )
