One of my girlfriends is getting married next year and is trying to decide on a bridal waltz. She's fond of "Unchained Melody", but it's just so old and overdone now.

What's a good, nice, relevant song that hasn't been played at every wedding for the past 5 years that can be appropriate but still a little bit different?

"A Little Ain't Enough" by David Lee Roth. Probably more poignant if she's a big-ish lass.

A bridal waltz should be a song that the lyrics mean something to you. Don't choose something that has been done at weddings for years just because everyone else does it. Choose a song that has special meaning to you.
As for Unchained Melody I hate that bloody song with a passion.

You can't go wrong with Elvis ballads. "Can't help falling in love" and "Love me tender", are perfect!
