and I reckon the Demons would be looking forward to atoning for years of losses BUT has anyone given any thought to the fact that Jonathon Brown may retire next week. The Lions would be pumped to get up for Jonno to have one last win - and I am scared we could potentially drop 3 games in a row that we would have marked as near certainties a month ago.
The boys better be switched ON for these next two games because if they are not we could lose to 2 bottom sides

Then let's deal with the Demons first.

Let's just take it one week at a time.

Demons game no certainty, must be switched on from the get go.

We'll worry about Brisbane next week.

Il give you the tip. If we dont beat Melbourne and Brisbane change must be done that night is Brisbane.
You think this board is fired up now after these inconsistent performances? Itll hardly compare if we go 7-7 the next fortnight.

So in saying all that and the club knowing the importance, I back the boys in to get the job done.
This will all be a non-issue comes June 28.

There is no point in making finals - it will just be an embarrassment
If we were to lose one or both games? Or just generally?
In all seriousness, bar 2007, when we make finals as of the last decade, our season was built upon actually making the finals. Then we make the finals and it's pretty much like "shit, what do we do next?".

Our run home this year would have to be the easiest out of all clubs. If we lose to clubs like Melb or Brisbane then some of these forwards need to be dropped. Petrie has had one good half all year, Tarrant was non existent last week and Black has pretty much been unseen all year. I hope these guys can start performing I really do, but I fear Black and Tarrant are passed it, even at Tarrants young age.
