In response to the poster, I believe the word is prematurely

Arrogance in sport is good when your on top but when you're in the position you guys are in, this poster is just embarrassing.

But in round one, you had a full list to select from and we had 5 players injured and Judd at 40% and you only beat us by 4 goals, in the return match we then beat you by about 5 goals, so thats a 9 goal turn around....now i don't have a short memory, but we only played each other once in 2007 and who won that one??

Wake up champ, your team i sno better than 9th, and to have a coach that has a 5 year plan and in 4 years hasn't played finals....what does that tell you about your club....

True but for the poster to work you would need to be a strong next year, otherwise it's just false hope. Since I highly doubt the fact that Carlton will be feared next year by anyone (except maybe Melbourne) it justifies my prematurely response.

Geelong had Ablett and Ling missing in round 17 and beat the Hawks yet when they had a more complete list to choose from the lost in the GF. Unfortunately for you the fact that you had players missing doesn't guarantee the side will play better next time.

Terry's 5 year plan was to turn us into a strong side which will play finals for several years to come. If we make the finals for the next 4 years or so he has succeeded.(btw I despise wallace). Oh and your team is no better than 11th.

No true perspective would be a clubs entire history. I could easily say "who has been more successful since 2002?". Hence my comment about 10 flags and a 16-5-1 record against your mob in finals. Oh and since 1979 Richmond hold a 2-1 finals record against your mob, so it seems that the 16-5-1 mark stands true throughout history.

The comment I was replying to was "100 years of yellow and bleak", not "30 years of yellow and bleak" so don't go telling me how much recent success Carlton have had when I was stating that Richmond has had a successful history, despite the last 30 years.
