I was impressed with Carey's first up effort after a limited pre-season and 12 months out of the game. He looked a bit slow to star of with but kicked 2 beauties and just missed another. His 2nd goals was magic and at a time that Pies started loking a bit dangerous.

Wasn't it great to see all players come and congratulate Carey when he kicked his 1st??????

Yeah I love stuff like that - it reminded me of when the players mobbed Ayresy after that victory at Optus Oval in the rain when the whole club was in danger of self-destructing and noone gave us a chance.
