Encouragingly for the Tigers, Polak believes a fresh start, and an uninterrupted run at senior level, will allow him to reach the high notes achieved by his three star peers.
"I knew the three above me were obviously quality players and knew they would be superstars in the AFL obviously at some stage, but that is the way I look at myself as well now that I will be playing with Richmond," Polak said.
"I haven't reached it yet, but obviously my best years are to come, and they'll be with Richmond."

I think he is going to do good things for us and one thing we all know is terry has the abillity to get uderacheiving players to perform.

Has the tallent, has the ability, just needs to knuckle down and do some hard work. He wont have the same distractions in Melbourne that he had in perth.

Well after 6 months lurking in here, he got me joined up and even ended up with 'POLAKTHETIGER'. He 'WAS' every thread....it was mind numbing!!

But, watch the WC vs Freo game...he stepped up and rucked for most of the game, and in one of higher skilled games of the season, played a pivotal role in getting Freo over the line. Marked, kicked to position, and even made a the last crucial tackle of the game. I'm not saying he was BOG...but showed some good skills.

Yeah Yeah...only one game doesn't cut it I hear from the back....for a swap from 8 to 13.....pleeease... I have read so much rambling on how much this is going to hurt Richmond long term by swapping for a kid 5 places back in the draft from another kid. Here is a 22 y.o. kid that has shown he can do it at the highest level, but is still 2-5 years from prime.....and BTW, again, watch that game, it is a great game. Watched it for the 1st time last night to see what he was like...good game of footy!!
