He was very very good on Saturday night and as Garry Lyon pointed out if Crisp’s kick goes through everyone probably would have been talking about him the way they’ve been talking about Dangerfield.

However as it stands you can make the argument that just for the time being (there is plenty of time for this to change) the most influential ‘forward’ (I use the term loosely because he still gets moved up the ground in patches from time to time) is arguably Dangerfield himself given that of Geelong’s 5 wins, he’s probably been directly responsible for at least 3 of them and probably 4 of them (Collingwood, Adelaide, Hawthorn and Melbourne).
