Many years ago when Barassi did the special comments on 3AW- in a Geelong game (where Geelong were going very ordinary) Barassi said Geelong are playing " Happy Hammond " type football - at which point Rex Hunt had a laughing fit - but that was back in the days of the old ( brittle) Geelong - thank god those days are long gone

Now there was a stupid premise, a nun who could fly! About as stupid as a kangaroo that could solve the world's problems, or a stranded tourist boat the crew and passengers of which had access to every luxury but still couldn't get off the island....
I'm sure I've said this before on here.I remember when I had to sleep at the ground in a queue during school holidays in 1967 to get finals tickets. Child abuse! I was nearly 11, but as I was already doing a morning paper round, my dad thought I was up to it.

I can only remember them at the good friday appeal.

As good as the old westerns may have been VD.
And I watched a stack.
If you haven't watched Django Unchained...................
I think he used to be the #1 ticketholder way back in the 60's
The footage of him running down the race and onto the ground with the players in the '63 GF is an absolute pisser![]()

Well it's not old mate.
But in this new age, it somehow captures the old age. Watch it.
Honnie van den Bosch?
Rosemary Margan?
My all time favourite was that spunky Jeannie that Larry Hagman had all bottled up for himself.
How and where?
Bet you didn't envisage a thread like this when you first posted it. Truly TOTY.
