Catherine Bach (the aforementioned Daisy Duke) would be right up there in my books.

I also had a soft spot (ahem) for Erin Grey (Wilma Deering in 'Buck Rogers').

But this could become a whole new thread.

F2G - totally forgot the Avengers, awesome show.

Sunday arvo - TV Ringside, World Championship Wrestling

Oh yeah , and when it was crap outside you could add Epic Theatre to that lot !!

You mentioned the Man from Uncle - one of my favs also
Can you remember a Western type Spy spoof around that time , had a futuristic feel with lots of clever tricks , name escapes me but I think Robert Vaughn was in it.

they played at my Form 6 (Year 12 for the younguns) dance - 1975 as well

Sometimes it's best to remember how truly awful somethings were, to see how far we've come - anyone remember watching The Black and White Minstrals Show on the ABC in the mid-70s? Vague memories it was part of Channel 2's Saturday 'variety' evening, and ran up against Channel 7's song and dance numbers from Ernie Sigley between the trots at Mooney Valley. o_O

On the plus side, growing up we had weekly doses of The Two Ronnies, Dad's Army, Dr. Who, Kenny Everitt Video Show, To the Manor Born, Butterflies, Porridge, and on and on and on...
