Better than i thought it would be.
I watched it with low expectations, but was surprised by how good it was.

Don't think i would give it 8.5, but was still a good movie.

In hindsight, i give it a 7.5. The shock at discovering a plot got me a bit too excited.

After listening to someone speak Will Smith Sneezes:
"Oh i'm sorry, i'm alergic to bullsh*t".:D

The special effects in the trailers make it look like an animated feature.

However, reviews I have read rate it highly.

Not bad. Entertained for long enough. Script was a bit cheesy.

What was with the ending? Everyone walked out the cinema a bit confused muttering about it.

I heard the product placement in this film is really obvious and in your face. Apparently there's a 10 minute bit that's almost a commercial. Can anyone confirm this?

Yep. Converse and Audi were absolutely everywhere. Did drag the movie down a tad.

The movie is set in 2035. So Will Smith gets a pair of retro shoes which just happened to be the 2004 model. A completely lame excuse to enable WS to tell us what brand and year they are (as in "hey, these are the latest Cons).

I saw this movie the other day:

The movie: Okay. Not good not bad.

Storyline: Predictable, but not too bad.

Special effects: Ok. Felt like I was watching a computer game quite a lot though.

Girl: average

Leather pants with sneakers: please don't let that come in fashion at anytime during the next 30 years.

product placement: Complete joke. In first ten minutes there is product placement for JVC, Converse, Audi, Fed Ex, and some other brand that escapes. Not discreet product placement, but in your face.
