Goddard & Hodge are the only realistic options.

But then again, considering that his lowest score is 97, I'll still keep Ablett.

Me too. A lowest score of 97. And that's a horrible week. I'll take that any day. He also had 34 touches, so its not like he's out of form. In saying that though, Hodge and Goddard also have a lowest score in the 90's. I reckon you could go with either of the 3 as a perma, and be happy.

I think the week off will be good for him too. I don't have Goddard  so i can't think about using him, Hodge and maybe Sandilands would be my only other options

I'm gonna stick with him, he still has the highest average of anyone in the league, and i have a sneaky suspicion he may get up for the blockbuster next week.

A quiet Ablett scores 98..a Quiet Hodge scores 30. Safety first with captains.

An underated post. Listen to this guy :thumbsu:

Might be a different story come SC finals, but for now safety first.

When has Luke Hodge scored 30??? Lowest SC score for 2010 is 94...

Has Hodge had a 'quiet' game this year? Not that I can remember...

Since the start of 2009, each player's lowest scores:

Ablett - 81
Hodge - 45

Even better, does that Vice-Captain trick still work? Make Hodge your VC and Ablett your C, and if Hodge tears it up, make your captain some spud (Warnock with Sandi on the bench as EMG for example) and take Hodgey's score.

Sssshhhhhhhhhhhh! That's a ridiculous suggestion. Ablett is the best!

The thing that worries me is he had 34 touches for 98 points. Normally Ablett only needs 20-25 to get 98 points. I didn't see the game so maybe someone can shed light on why this was the case

I was at the game Rodney and thought he was pretty good and was quite surprised to see his score when I got home. He did go missing a little in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but still had a pretty good game in my eyes. Was very clean with his skills but got caught a couple of times, which may have hurt his score a little.

Much more influential that Judd in the Carlton game IMO and no kicks to opposition that I can recall, so I'm a bit bewildered with it tbh. The scoring is still a mystery to me and will continue to be given their secret herbs and spices recipe.
