'i told you so' moments

I haven't really been on bigfooty long enough to record any of these yet, but my mate Wayne said at the start of the yr that Matthew Bode was past it and would not win a spot in our best 22 anymore. I disagreed and said that he would be a regular in our starting 18 by round 10 and thankfully for us i was correct.

Furthermore, made a mini bet with port supporter in 2004 who thought tredrea was on the verge of emulating the king, Wayne Carey after ports 2004 flag. I disagreed and thought that he was rather one dimensional and had reached his peak, mentioning at his age it was really only downhill for him from there. Now its a given hes suffered some injuries, but i was once again proved correct!

I also felt bock was still a decent AFL prospect for us and a player of the future, when most crows supporters were ready to hang him after a single inept performance in the eagles GF against the doggies in the SANFL. This was another feather in my cap in terms of correct predictions.

As many of you are long-term members maybe you would like to list your own 'i told you so' moment if you have one, conversely you may like to quote predictions that were completely wrong. I for one had written off Michael Doughty as a longterm AFL prospect for us, but i think its safe to say this young player has turned the corner into safe starting 18 player for us.
